Your Rolls Get a Full Check Up

	Following a full mechanical inspection the roll is stripped of all the old covering.
	Any necessary dismantling is carried out.
	Engineers carry out NDT, dimensional and visual checks on all aspects of the roll.
	Results falling outside agreed parameters (e.g. minimum stock diameter) are reported to the customer for a decision on how to progress.
	The rolls are cleaned of any grease, dirt and debris INSIDE and OUT.

Roll Production

	The majority of our rolls are produced using our state of the art computer controlled equipment or moulding equipment.
	It has a 1000 litre capacity and guarantees a homogenuos air and contamination free covering, giving uniform properties not only throughout the roll but from roll to roll.
	We also have comprehensive small batch facilities allowing us to process a vast range of compound and curative combinations.
	The major benefit of our machine is we can offer a large range of compounds and hardness through different systems. The customer has a wide choice and improved finish quality

The Complete "One Stop" Service

	Disassembly of the rolls including chock, bearing and shaft removal.
	Comprehensive visual, measurement and NDT inspection following agreed written procedures with customers.
	Roller refurbishment of keyways, shafts and bearing housings.
	Major repairs including re-stubbing, new shaft manufacture, welding and re-boring housings.
	Reassembly using purchased or free issue bearings, seals and retainers.
	The repairing, recovering and storing of rolls ready for order call off.

Roll Grinding

	We have comprehensive turning and grinding facilities with over head crane handling.
	We can grind to the finest tolerances of finish, diameter, concentricity and circular runout.
	Inspection of these factors are carried out at this stage while the roll is still mounted in the grinder. All results are recorded

Inspection, Packing & Despatch

	When the roll is given its final inspection all the results are recorded
	The delivery note is produced showing the description, customer order and stock number.
	The roll is packed and protected ready for transport. At all stages the roll is supported on its journals, not the cover, by axle stands. The stands are polyurethane covered to protect the journals.
	The roll is loaded onto our transport ready to be dispatched to the customer

Roll Collection & Delivery

	We use our own 7.5 ton lorry
	Agreed collection days to suit customer requirements
	Reliable cover from a local transport company for larger rolls
	Goods in transit are insured for up to £25,000
