Bonaprene Products are manufacturers of high performance, industrial grade movement joints for the floor tiling industry. Bonaprene combines the company’s high performance polyurethane elastomer with our customer’s anchoring metals to produce joints for tiled floors in heavy traffic areas.

Bonaprene use bespoke designed moulding beds to precision bond the polyurethane to a wide range of metal types and shapes that include stainless steel, aluminium and brass.

Standard colours are red, orange, blue, green, yellow, black, charcol, agate grey, dove grey, traffic grey, and stone.  For a surcharge we can also make in any colour that has a RAL number.

Perimeter Joints Movement_joints_on_blue_back_ground

Bonaprene compliment the standard range with perimeter joints. Perimeter joints are an assembly with only one anchoring metal bonded to the polyurethane. Perimeter joints allow a flexible joint at the edge of the tiling work.

Formable Joints

Formable joints use flexible anchoring metals bonded to the polyurethane. Combined with Bonaprene’s high stretch, low compression set polyurethanes these formable joints allow jointing on many types of radii.

Wide Movement Joints Wide_movement_joint

Using bespoke tooling Bonaprene can manufacture wider movement joints where larger expansion and compression movements are anticipated.

Deeper Movement Joints

Using bespoke tooling Bonaprene can manufacture deeper movement joints for thicker flooring products than standard tiles.

Fire Retardant Grades

Bonaprene can offer fire retardant and anti static polyurethane infill grades. Bonaprene manufacture parts for the mining industry where the polyurethanes made have been tested to the standards set out in the former British Coal Memorandum RD/NMMB (84) 1 method 2 and the former British Coal Specification 158/1989 by the Cerberus Mining Acceptance Service.
